DOES HISTORY REPEAT?

Henry the 8th

Four hundred years ago, when Henry VIII was lopping off the heads of friends and foes, the victims didn’t want to suffer the humiliation of being hauled through the streets of London. They preferred to go by boat down the Thames to the Tower where they entered the gloomy place through a special gate, directly from boat to prison. The gate was known then, and is known today, as the Watergate.

So, four hundred years ago, many historical figures went to their final doom through the Watergate.

History does repeat itself.
