For many years and especially in recent times, the United States has been looked down upon and criticized by the rest of the world.

Some of the negativity was justified, but rarely were any positives added to offset, so let me add a biggie.

The first practical schematics for the Internet would not arrive until the early 1960s, and by the photo above you already guessed what I’m focusing on here is technology; how it has changed the world and what it has done and will continue to do for mankind. The whole world enjoys the Internet and it was developed right here in the U.S.A. The impact is everywhere on earth and someday may be on the same or higher level than the Industrial Revolution. As incredible as that contribution is on its own, it does not even take into account our achievements in developing computers to the point where they are almost human, and not even crediting what we have done in the fields of science, medicine, industry, agriculture and our other contributions that benefit the world helping to enhance knowledge, communications, learning, life and happiness.

I am not qualified, but I would suggest someone with broad knowledge of technology write an article on the subject of what the Internet and the computer has done for us so far and what it is likely to do in the future.

And please give credit to the United States for bringing this miracle to people all over the planet.
