Why the long face? The Blobfish doesn’t have much to smile about – the grumpy looking ocean creature won a public vote to become the official mascot of the Ugly Animal Preservation Society. This gives the fish the unofficial title of world’s ugliest animal.

Looking more like a cartoon than a fish, the Blobfish has very few muscles and moves very slowly. To eat, the Blobfish waits on the bottom of the ocean for prey to pass by. How does Mr. Grumpy stack up compared to all the other ugly animals out there? We’ll let you be the judge …
