THE TUSCON MASSACRE

Psychiatrists may pretend they know what lurks in the dark minds of aberrant people but I think it’s all speculation on their part. I feel that many abnormal people are quite clever and they know they cannot receive a death sentence. They are exempt under the law and they know it, so they use the law to their benefit and blow away a dozen or more innocents because a voice in their head commanded them to do it, but all the while they have a free pass to do heinous, abominable, evil crimes and not fear death. Far from it! A jail cell or comfy room in a facility for the insane that provides all the creature comforts and then some, awaits them. Where is the deterrent?

Admittedly, there is a difference between stark raving lunatics who have no idea of right from wrong; and the quiet, percolating crazies among us who one day detonate like an explosive shell that was lying dormant for a time.

Taking into account the actions of Jared Lee Loughren, in killing 6 people and wounding 14 , I say… “try ‘em and fry ‘em!” Something to keep in mind, as we mourn a U.S. judge, a 9-year-old girl and all the other victims.
