LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Reuters News reported that a 28-year-old floor fitter, Lefkos Hajji, living in London, came up with a very romantic and unique way to propose to his 26-year-old sweetheart, Leanne.

Hajji, of Hackney, east London, had concealed a $12,000 engagement ring inside a helium balloon. The idea was that she would pop the balloon as he popped the question.

You may have guessed it. but as he left his shop with the ring inside the balloon an ill-wind blew the balloon skyward and the helium took it to God knows where, maybe to heaven.

He is hoping for a miracle and the return of his ring and Leanne’s affection.
