GUESS WHO WROTE THIS?
My 17-year-old grandson gave me a test. He sent me a quote and asked me to guess who wrote it:
“Conscience, power, conscience, power. On the ancient scale of judgment, inherent in every human’s mind, the two see-saw precariously, back and forth, attempting to outweigh the other in a primal display of moral fisticuffs and ambivalence, whose very outcome will ultimately determine which of life’s paths one will traverse in the infinite quest for righteousness.”
I knew it wasn’t biblical, but I felt it was the words of a statesman; I thought of either Abe Lincoln or Winston Churchill. What would be your guess? Scroll down a bit for the answer!
I’m proud to say it was written by David Saginor, my grandson, and I just decided that his writing skills far exceed mine, so some day he will inherit this web site, (if he wants it).
