Tainted Money?
Sri Lanka, which is 70% Buddhist, 15% Hindu, 8% Christian, 7% Muslim, rejected Israel’s offer of aid (food and money, plus other essentials) to help victims of the Tsunami.
Why would a Buddhist country do that?
There will be a substantial contribution to relief efforts made by citizens of the United States in a campaign led by ex-Presidents Clinton and Bush.
I am certain that American Jews will respond and be very generous to the tragic plight of the victims.
Since our donations are “tainted” by Jews contributing a good share of it, will Sri Lanka refuse to accept?
