The procedure has already begun and is expected to take about 2½ hours, the White House said.

White House spokesman Tony Snow said Friday that the procedure, during which a doctor looks for any signs of cancer, was to be carried out at Camp David, Maryland, and the president would be placed under anesthesia.

Bush Signs Order Banning Torture

By VOA News
President Bush has signed an executive order banning the use of torture in the CIA’s detention and interrogation programs.

My comment:
Did Bush try to protect himself from pain and or torture? What if the gastroenterologist performing the colonoscopy was a staunch democrat, influenced by Nancy Pelosi, would he forget to administer anesthesia.

DrillOr even worse, would he use a heavy hand when maneuvering the roto-rooter like scope through Bush’s intestines. Aaaach! I have some suspicions Bush used his presidential powers to prevent this from happening.
