TEHRAN, IRAN – AN ENIGMA
By Harvey Tobkes
I was surprised, to say the least, by these photos of Tehran. Can this city be in the same nation that would support groups, which if successful, would destroy all this beauty?
The slides show a juxtaposition of the modern, the historical and the natural. I foresee the day that the the people of the nation of Iran will reshape their country and separate their government and their religion. Current religious leaders and “elected” officials are an anachronism. I may be optimistic, but I think the people of Iran, want exactly what you and I want…peace and prosperity.
Let’s hope the youth of Iran can succeed in waking up the slumbering deluded Ayatollahs.
