ANNA KOSTENKO PAINTINGS – NOT PHOTOS
Something to instill a little awe in your day! The paintings in this file are nothing short of stunning. Quite literally, you must study them intensely to see even the most subtle evidence that they are, in fact, paintings…and it is only possible to do this in some of them. In others, you simply cannot do it. What is truly amazing is that this lady has not only painted in such incredibly minute detail, but that she’s tailored the images to include distortion toward the outer edges of the ‘photos’ in precisely the same way as the lens of a camera would. This treatment is easily identified in the frame which includes a lamp post to the left of image center. What an incredible artist.
