“Equal justice under law,” is a phrase based upon the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Too bad, and too often, it is overlooked and not equally applied in our courtrooms where, sometimes, justice is dispensed depending on who you are, who you know, how much money you have, and does the presiding judge have greasy palms.
