Before there was a State of Israel there was the Palestinian Mandate and the first concern of the halutzim in 1912 was to build a science center. Then the desert was changed into arable land.
The Arabs on the other hand continued to make desert of arable land and then rose up to destroy all that Israel had accomplished.
Two different cultures two different approaches.
Why would the World chose the Arab approach?
