AFTER AN AUTO ACCIDENT

After an auto accident it is important to gather as much information as possible. It is usually a very stressful time and you are not able to think clearly but this list may help. Try to print it out and keep it in your glove box and above all… make sure you always have pencil & a pad ready.

Be sure to gather the following information:

• Always exchange driver details and take some accident notes.

• Get driver’s license number of the driver of the other car.

• Get License plate number of the other car

• Get address and phone numbers of the driver and the passengers.

• Get name of the Insurance company and policy number from the driver of the other car. Note: the drivers license may not be in the same the name as the person who carries the insurance.

• Get Description of the other vehicle, including the make, model, and color.
