THE HIGHEST MEDAL A MAN OR WOMAN CAN EARN

I will tell you. A father who says to his adult offspring, “By your achievements in life, you have made me very proud.”

It’s a short sentence and not eloquent but charged with what we all crave… Recognition.

Sadly, my own father died at a young age, but I still talk to his spirit now and then. Someday, when I join his world, I hope he will say the words that will bring me the medal I so longed for. But I will not leave this earth without proudly telling my 3 adult children…you are all of sterling character and as your dad I am so very proud. I love you guys!
