HEALTH DANGER LURKING

——————————Photobucket——————————
Researchers at the University of Arizona, examining health hazards, did tests on super market shopping cart handles and found that half tested positive for E. coli fecal bacteria. Yech!

It gets worse! The positive test revealed more fecal bacteria on those handles than you find in a household bathroom, but that could be because we usually clean and disinfect our bathrooms while it is unlikely that any supermarkets perform that service for shoppers.

So, if you don’t want to contact fecal bacteria, it’s your job to wipe the handle with a disinfectant. Children are probably more susceptible to infection by bacteria than adults and as a precaution should not contact the shopping cart handles.
